PDC is a fully integrated development company specializing in unique commercial properties throughout northern California. With over 4 million square feet of developed or pre-development projects, we aim to create unparalleled retail spaces that add significant value to their surrounding communities.

 

Our diverse portfolio includes regional power centers, mixed-use urban core retail centers, and a 60-acre university village with student housing and retail services. Many of our projects take over a decade to develop and involve hundreds of outreach meetings due to their intense in-fill nature. As a result, our developments often set new highs for market rents and market lows for cap rates due to their strategic locations and the success of their tenant base.

At PDC, we prioritize meeting the needs of consumers and exceeding tenant and governmental expectations. We incorporate extremely well-built traditional architecture, private art in public places, and unique water features that fit into the character of the region. We also recognize the sacrifices of our military veterans in our projects.

 

In the past, PDC was the preferred developer for Rite Aid and Safeway in the greater Sacramento region, assembling, acquiring, entitled, leasing, and constructing over $500 million worth of projects on time and on budget. Our extensive research and efforts helped Rite Aid fend off the devastation experienced in other trade areas when Walgreen's entered the market, and we delivered fresh new ground-up prototypes for Safeway.
